San Francisco Private Charters

Let Us Host Your Next Event

We conduct private charters for individuals, families, non-profit organizations, businesses, student groups, travel and tour operators—virtually any group you may belong to or decide to organize. Each charter trip is accompanied by a naturalist to interpret the sights and enhance your group experience.

Business & Professional Organizations

Looking for an interesting alternative to the company picnic?

Many local companies have taken advantage of our services to provide their employees with a fun, exciting and educational outing that also fosters a positive group dynamic and encourages a cohesive team atmosphere. The boats we generally use carry up to 40 passengers and crew. However, we can accommodate groups of any size by arranging for a second boat or larger boat.

We can also tailor the day to fit your groups goals and budget. Let us know what you are looking for – email us for more information.

Families & Small Groups

Private whale watching tours make wonderful outings for families and groups of friends.

We’ve hosted 4 generations of a family celebrating a great grandfather’s birthday, and lost count of the groups of college friends who have reunited for a day at sea with us.

If your group isn’t large enough to fill a boat on your own, we can put all of you together on one of our regularly-scheduled trips. Ask us about special group pricing.

School Field Trips

San Francisco Whale Tour is committed to the ongoing education and conservation of our coastal waters and their inhabitants. Taking out students – whether they are day campers from the YMCA or college marine biology students – is the best way to continue our efforts.

Both the San Francisco Bay and Gulf of the Farallones are perfect locations for field trips and curriculum related activities. We will work with you to schedule a trip especially tailored to your specific curricular requirements.

This may be during a particular breeding or migration season, or specific to a location. Contact us for more information and to set up your next field trip!
